Christopher Kuiper, CFA®, Director of Research at Fidelity Digital Assets

Chris Kuiper is Director of Research for Fidelity Digital Assets, which provides enterprise-grade digital asset solutions for institutional investors. Chris contributes to and oversees the research creation process, working closely with sales and marketing to provide leading education and resources to clients.

Prior to joining Fidelity Digital Assets, Chris served as Vice President of equity research at CFRA Research, one of the largest independent global investment research providers. There he covered financial exchanges as well as payment and fintech companies, while also expanding CFRA’s research capabilities to include bitcoin and led the creation of CFRA’s research methodology. Chris also previously served as a research analyst at various asset management firms, as well as a research fellow at the Mercatus Center, a university-based public policy research center where he focused on technology- and finance-related public policy issues.

Chris holds an MA in Economics from George Mason University as well as a BA in Business Administration from Dordt University. Chris Kuiper is a CFA® charterholder.


Matt Horne, Head of Digital Asset Strategists at Fidelity Digital Asset Management

Matt Horne is the head of business development for Fidelity Digital Asset Management at Fidelity Investments. Fidelity Investments is a leading provider of investment management, retirement planning, portfolio guidance, brokerage, benefits outsourcing, and other financial products and services to institutions, financial intermediaries, and individuals.

In this role, Mr. Horne is responsible for business development where he collaborates with investors to help navigate the emerging digital asset space and manage digital assets alongside their broader portfolio of investments. He has held various roles across Fidelity’s asset management business and distribution channels, helping to launch and build out Fidelity’s ETF business. Prior to joining Fidelity, Matt was a Lieutenant Commander in the US Navy where he served as a nuclear submarine officer.

Matt earned his bachelor of arts in economics from Holy Cross and his master of business administration from Boston College. He also holds the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7, 63, and 24 registrations and is a CFA® charterholder.


Brian Murphy, Founder of Pariveda Investment Management and Co-founder of Kivalia, Inc.

Brian Murphy is the founder of Pariveda Investment Management, a traditional Registered Investment Advisor based in Mountain View, CA and co-founder of Kivalia, Inc., a digitally native financial advisory service targeted to consumers. Brian received a BS from Northwestern University, an MBA from The Wharton School, is a CFA charterholder and is well versed in quantitative techniques applications in personal finance. He is a strong proponent of bitcoin as a protocol technology for the next generation economy.


Jackson Wood, Portfolio Manager and Advisor at Freedom Day Solutions

Jackson Wood is a Portfolio Manager and Advisor at Freedom Day Solutions, an independent RIA. Jackson first purchased bitcoin in 2012 after reading Satoshi’s whitepaper in college. Jackson holds an MBA and currently manages a crypto SMA for the firm clients.
